WORKING PAPERS FOR NON US CITIZENS:
H1-B3 VISA: (click here for description)
To work in the United States it is mandatory that you obtain an H1-B3 Visa. UNITE UNITE will file the petition with the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Service (USCIS) on your behalf as soon as you or your mother agent provided with the following required documents:
1: A copy of your valid passport
2: 10 -12 tear sheets these can be digital copies. They must be from a published real job and printed or on a legitimate website. i.e. searchable via the web
3: A list of magazines, advertising campaigns and photographers you have worked with worldwide.
4: 5 letters of recommendation (these should be obtained through your agency abroad) they must be signed by the person who wrote the letter. The USCIS may contact them to confirm they are authentic.
The USCIS requires that you have your passport validated with the H1-B3 Visa status in a city outside the USA. Therefore, when filing your petition, you must select a city with a US Consular office. There you will have to have a short interview to present your passport and have your H1-B3 Visa issued.
It takes about two to four months for the USCIS to approve your petition and is valid for approximately three years. The charge for the H1-B3 Visa is currently $2,475.00, if expedited $3,700.00, This includes application preparation, filing fees. In some cases UNITE UNITE may offer to advance some or all of this cost and apply it to your account but only if your petition is approved.
Once we have received the official approval notice, you must make an appointment at the (pre-selected) US Consular office, outside the USA to validate your passport.
